There’s something slightly obsessing about the serenity that comes with these views. Somewhere between the blood, sweat and grit I find a solice escape from reality. It’s never about the hike. It’s about what you experience along the way. Only you can see what you see. Only you can feel what you feel. Nature really does heal.

Over thousands of years, a stalactite and a stalagmite will grow toward each other until they touch and join. Once the connection is complete, they become what is called a column. Water continues to flow down the outside of the pillar, adding more layers of minerals that make the column wider over time.
