🌿✨ June is filling up beautifully, friends! ✨🌿 If you've been thinking about booking a session, now is the time.

After June, I'll be stepping away from regular bookings for July and August while I pour my heart into a creative little dream project right here outside of Oskaloosa. 🌿🏕️✨

It's still a secret for now 🤫🌙🍄 but I've been gathering ideas, chasing sunsets, and building something magical that I cannot wait to share with you all. 🤎

Regular photography sessions will return in September as we head into my favorite season of golden light, cozy evenings, and wild grass dancing in the breeze. 🍂🌾✨

And a little splashin' in the lake soaking up that beautiful Kansas sunshine. 🌞💦

One of my favorite parts of senior sessions is asking, "Are you excited?" and getting that hesitant half-smile with, "I don't really like having my picture taken..." 😏

Then somehow... by the end of the session, they're walking, laughing, posing, and absolutely owning it like they're headed for the cover of a magazine. ✨

I may have a tiny talent for bringing that confidence out of people. 👉🏼👈🏼

Just summer the way it’s meant to feel.
Cold root beers.
Beer on ice.
Wet hair.
Sunburnt shoulders.
Bare feet.
Lake water.
Blue hour.
Girls growing too fast.
Mom & Dad still in love.

I’ve been photographing this family since Lucy was 6 months old, and every single year they show up ready to trust whatever wild idea I dream up next. That kind of trust as an artist means more than I can explain.

This one felt less like a photo shoot and more like stumbling into somebody’s favorite childhood memory.
And honestly? That’s exactly what we were chasing. ✨
