Worth every bit of the jump scare! ⚡🚗 I was completely mesmerized by how beautifully this gambrel barn and its addition were restored, totally ignoring the sky—until a massive crack of lightning sent my camera flying right onto Red’s floorboard! Storm chasers can keep their job... I'll take a calm gravel road any day! ⛈️🌾✨

For once, the power lines stay in the photo! ⚡🌾 Usually I’m editing them out, but the sharp, straight alignment leading toward this fantastic gambrel barn was too good to pass up. Between my obsession with perfect lines (ask Chad about our 2-hour curtain hanging session last night 🤣) and wondering if our Austin would give his lineman stamp of approval on those poles, this shot had it all! Plus, those original cupolas sitting up top are pure perfection. 📸

So many gorgeous barns, so little camera angle space! 🌾📸 That Denver farmstead blew me away, especially the row of perfectly aligned loft windows. Sitting high up on a straw bale looking out over all that land is the ultimate dream. I'd have every stall filled with goats, horses, cows, and clucking chickens—no matter how hard Chad rolls his eyes! 🙄🐐✨

Gable barn beauty, but that crisp white fence stole the show! 🌾🏡 Every little farm girl grows up picturing the full dream: the house, the old barn, a whole barnyard of rescued critters (complete with eye rolls from the husband!), and that iconic white fencing tying it all together. Seeing it out on the backroads just makes your heart smile! 📸✨

You can take the girl off the farm, but that 5:00 AM chore clock is set for life! 🌅⏰ Waking up from a quick nap in the passenger seat to a blazing sunrise over an old gable barn and hay hook made every lost hour of sleep worth it.
