I was so blessed to be able to capture this special moment between this sweet cowgirl and her horses. After competing in the Horsemen's Council of Illinois Showdown Series at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. This pretty gray was able to celebrate on her retirement weekend by winning their first saddle!!

Here is another favorite session. I had to dig in the archives a bit for this one. (I rarely delete any raw or edited files.)

It was one of my first senior girl equine sessions. To capture this cowgirl and her string of rodeo horses at the top of their game was so fun!

Its no easy job keeping a string of horses and yourself in tip top shape to compete. This cowgirl did it so well and is still an excellent role model to so many! I am so happy she trusted to me to capture this fun season in her life.

Welcome! After a long break due to putting my family first; I am so excited to announce that Kasey Wilson Photography is back in business!

I will no longer be specializing in newborns and family though. I am looking forward to documenting my first love of photography...equine, livestock, and farming!
I have held a camera since I was about 10 years old. Sunsets, horses, and cattle were always my go to!

These days I absolutely love capturing the bond between a rider and their horse; as well as farm families and livestock photography!

Here is a snippet of a session I did with my girls back in the fall of 2022. Just a few short weeks after this session one of these sweet ponies went to heaven. It absolutely crushed us.
I am so thankful for all the wonderful photographers who were able to document their horse shows.
This session will always hold a place in my heart because instead of my girls fierce competitive faces, I was able to capture the love they have for their roan ponies.

This session means so much to us. I want to serve others and document the bond they have with their special equine partner. Sometimes due to life, health, or stepping up to new horses; we only have our partners for a short season. I am here to serve you by capturing the season you are in!

It’s been a quiet year for me on social media. Well really life in general. God surprised us with baby #5. Since last June I’ve had to take it easy with a high risk pregnancy, then our little man was born early, and he just had a surgery last week. He has kept us on our toes!

I have so many thoughts and pictures I’ve wanted to share. Too many though! I get overwhelmed at how to break it down and which images to share.

So this will be my start! This little man has quite the story and the Lord has really worked on my heart this past year.

Here’s to catching up on past stories and documenting everyday life as it happens not only for my family but for your family too.
