Don’t over think the outfits or how everyone will behave just get in the picture. Trust me it will be fine. I will sing some Bluey or make fun of your husband’s murder face and we will all laugh and it will be over sooner than you realize and you’ll have some gems of this stage of life. Now having teenagers I look back at the choas years and cherish every photo even the ones I look like the tired overstimulated mom I was at the time. And I have to do better about capturing this stage of life with me and the kids because they are still growing and changing and our relationship is evolving and I still want to have pictures to look back at us together and not just them in their activities (that rules our life at the moment). Fall is busy but it’s also so nice out and so pretty here in the Midwest. So let’s do some photos! I have LOTS of Sundays open. So weeknights and Sundays will be available until they are gone and I’d truly love to see your beautiful families. $300 for a half, $450 for a full session. Love ya, bye!! ;)

I am only half way through culling these photos and I just can’t NOT post some!!! I had the best time with this fresh 1 year old outside at his new house, which happens to be a house I drive by all the time and think, man, that yard is perfect for pictures. Well good thing he liked me because that first perfect snowfall I am coming over for some magical photos in those perfect pine trees!!! :)

Ok not sure how to do the cute stickers on faces in a post not story but how cute is this family in one of my FAVORITE spots Blumen Gardens | Home | Garden | Gift | Weddings | Events !!! I love it there so much and it’s such a beautiful little spot to take some family photos, especially for nature loving family like this!! So fun to see the girls again and find some pretty flowers with them so they could work their poses! ;)

I delivered this gallery today and I’m such a sucker for little kids and flowers. I am not the girliest girl in society’s version of femininity and I always wore t-shirts and sneakers and played sports. I feel like the softest parts of me show up when I see flowers. They just bring me such joy and peace and I love incorporating them into pictures. So thankful to have such a beautiful space at Ottawa Visitors Center ‘s Reddick Mansion here in town.

I am always looking for things to do for my parents since they do so much for us and our kiddos. And a nice extended family session can be a perfect thank you gift. These girls were bribed with Tones Cones and some b***y shaking hilarity for big smiles and a quick little family session downtown. We literally got so many photos in 40ish minutes and it was so easy and fun and even produced some funny memories!! Get a session on the calendar and don’t overthink it. Pick a color palette (blue and white) and just get everyone in the same spot. I promise it will be fun and easy and you’ll have a one to frame like this!!
