Just wanted to share a quick update on the Couples for a Cause sessions:

We’re currently at $500 raised for the Adirondack Food System Network, and we're honestly so grateful for everyone who’s taken part in this. It’s been really special getting to connect with so many couples while supporting such a meaningful cause.

We'll be closing this round on Friday to shift focus to some other exciting upcoming projects, so if you’ve been thinking about booking a session, this is your last chance to grab a spot.

We’re halfway there!

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Couples for a Cause. Because of you, we’re already halfway to our fundraising goal for the Adirondack Food System Network, helping strengthen local food access and support regional farms across the Adirondacks.

There are now only 5 sessions left, and we’d love for more couples to take part.

Couples for a Cause is a limited couples photo series through Shared Focus Photos. Sessions are open to couples at any stage: dating, long-term relationships, engagements, or even proposals.

I spend most of my time behind the lens focusing other's stories, but I realized I’ve never actually shared much of my own.

This is my fiancée and I, Kass, at our engagement shoot back in October. Growing up, I probably watched more romance movies than anything else. I always admired that kind of story-driven connection, the kind that feels entirely effortless. Finding that in my own life is the reason I focus on couples photography.

Being with her is what shaped the way I run Shared Focus Photos. It made me realize that the best photos aren’t the ones where everything is perfectly posed; they’re the ones where you’re just comfortable and present with each other.

That’s the energy I try to bring to every session we do. Living through it myself has given me a new perspective on how much these moments truly matter.
