She came in nervous. She left with photos that felt completely, entirely her.
That’s the thing about senior sessions — they don’t have to feel like a photo shoot. They can feel like an afternoon spent somewhere meaningful, doing the things you love, in a place your family has always called special.
For this session, we spent golden hour at a location that holds real history for her family. And because she’s a reader — a real, curl-up-with-a-book, lose-track-of-time reader — we made sure that showed up in her gallery too. Her sitting on the rocks by the rushing water, completely lost in a book. Her perched on that rock wall with the arched bridge framing her behind her, the pond glowing gold.
She didn’t need to know how to pose. She just had to show up as herself. That’s literally what I’m here for.
If you have a senior who’s nervous about photos (most of them are — it’s normal), I want you to know: that’s exactly who I love working with most. We’ll plan everything together, figure out what makes your senior uniquely them, and create images that actually look like your kid — not a stranger in a studio.
