My DNA trace back to the Shaka Zulu empire! The Zulu formed a powerful state in 1816[4] under the leader Shaka. Shaka, as the Zulu commander of the Mthethwa Empire and successor to Dingiswayo, united what was once a confederation of tribes into an imposing empire under Zulu hegemony. Shaka built a militarised system known as Impi featuring conscription, a standing army, new weaponry, regimentation, and encirclement battle tactics.

Meet my new toy - Ansco introduced this nicely-finished 6x6 folder for 120 film in the latter half of 1948. Its $96.86 price was surprisingly high. (In 2011 dollars this would equal about $885.00) The specs offered a 90mm f/4.5 anastigmat lens; a range of shutter speeds from 1/2 to 1/400 sec.; and flash sync built into the shutter using an ASA-style bayonet connector.

New camera purchase:
The Konair Ruby Camera was manufactured by Toko Photo Company of Tokyo, Japan in circa 1956.The Koto Photo Company was eventually renamed to the Windsor Camera Company. The Konair Ruby camera was a single lens reflex 35mm film camera with a coupled rangefinder. It was fitted with a Konair f3.5, 45mm lens. The shutter providing speeds from 1/10th to 1/300th of a second and Bulb.
