The way a photograph can make you feel, how it takes you back to a specific place and time and that it's a moment captured forever.

I started Cassandra Joy Photography to help capture the joy and memories of our lives. I want our sessions to be fun, relaxed and comfortable. I want to get the little moments between families that show how special you truly are. My photography is mostly interaction based with a few posed pictures in between.

Tomorrow marks 10 years in business. It started as a hesitant endeavor. Something for a “little extra money” since my social work job paid crap. It also gave me the ability to grow as a photographer. Now I’ve made it my career. It’s taken me places I never dreamed of, but I’ve also never worked harder. I’m forever thankful for everyone that helped make this business what it is. I’ve got so much more I want to do and create. Here’s to another 10 years!

Unfortunately for me, I have zero chill, I still try to creative and you’ll end up with a huge gallery. It’s a problem for me editing but a nice surprise for you!
