I am in complete disbelief that the little girl with the wild hair I once knew is now a young woman who just graduated FHTC and will graduate high school next spring. Her face curves like her mama's when she smiles. She looks so much like her.
If you had told any one of us that Ralissa would be taking her senior pictures without either of her parents back when I was a senior in high school, no one would have believed you. It's still hard to believe this is everyone's reality. We did have a fun night with the help of other family members, but I can only imagine how much fun it would've been with Trista smiling and laughing with us. How much she would've loved watching her daughter shine.
So many people had a piece of them die when Trista left this earth, myself included. We just understood each other, like our souls were just kind of the same. She said I was family. And her family, especially her mama, has been so sweet to me.
I am so proud of her kids for holding their heads up and keeping on, and so is she. I know she is watching over them, helping protect & guide them. These pictures are a tribute to the beautiful souls we lost but also to all that Ralissa has accomplished and will continue to.
She has so many people rooting for her, in this life & the next!
