First design walk through today with our designers The Hill Designed 🙌🏼

I quite literally have no idea where I would even start without them! I really think they can read my mind because they pretty much finish every thought I have. I cannot WAIT to show you colors, textures, tile choices etc as we go along. They also explained everything Alex said as well 😅

So thankful to work alongside them! Their Instagram was taken down recently & they are having to start FRESH so to give them a follow! If you love design you will absolutely love them! Also they are not only local so reach out to them if you are needing a designer!

If you had a passion for photography AND being home with your kids I would sit across the table from you tell you how incredible it is to do both.

It’s not lost on me what a blessing it is and after getting into this world of education, I can’t help but want to walk alongside other moms who have the same goal: be present with your kids AND bring in a great income without having to be a content creator at all times 🤪

I’ve been putting together a course that is 100% affordable for anyone (not just moms) that want to learn how to use their camera and begin a career or side hustle in photography. It’s SO FUN, so rewarding, and financially dependable. (Everyone will always want photosssss 👋🏼)

I won’t stop sharing because the messages that are coming in that this was an answer to prayer for so many people TRULY blesses us more than you’ll ever know!

Who knew when we built this two years ago, what the Lord had planned?! Being able to share this business with you all has been the biggest joy!

If you’re new around here, we built a greenhouse two years ago, and I took photos in it of my own clients. One day, I had a photographer asked me if they could use it, and we decided to start renting it out to other local photographers. We had absolutely no idea how busy we would get and how much fun it would be to run this little business!

After two years, renting this out, my husband and I decided to make a little business course that explains everything we do to run this business!

I was talking to a client of mine the other day about how thankful we are for our new home & what the Lord has blessed us with. I also told her how hard it’s been healing from mold, the eczema, asthma, etc.. but then quickly followed it up with “but we are SO thankful!”

She looked at me and said, “Kelsie you don’t have to finish every story with a neatly tied bow. It’s okay to admit it’s hard.”

That quite literally stopped me in my tracks and I thought you know what? You’re right.

Are we so thankful for the ways the Lord has provided OVER AND OVER again for our family? More than you could ever imagine. Like truly. Miracle after miracle.

Is it also excruciating to watch your child suffer for 5 years after you found out your own home had been poisoning him? Absolutely.

I think as believers we want to add the tied up bow to make sure everyone knows how it’s just all fine. However sometimes it’s not fine, AND you’re thankful.

The Lord wants us to bring our honesty to Him. He’s big enough to handle it. He ALREADY knows your heart. He just wants you to bring it to Him.

If you’re in a season of blessing & hardship.. that’s okay, you don’t have to tie it up with a pretty bow right now. Maybe just come lay at the feet of Jesus. 🫶🏼

The Lord just out here grabbing me by the shoulders and getting me back in the lane He has for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

A few months ago, when I started this journey in the education world, I wanted to teach people how to take photos, how to be a photographer, how to start a business, and how to have time freedom and financial freedom as a photographer.

Once I created the Greenhouse course, I realized how incredible that was for our family financially and also how incredible it was to provide something for so many people to use to bless their own families.

For a minute, I got really focused on the creator world, the course creation, etc., etc. but I felt so much friction knowing that wasn’t what I was supposed to do. After having a lot of conversation with the Lord and with Alex, I knew I was supposed to stay in my lane, offering the Greenhouse course and also teaching others how to become photographers 🙌🏼

So that’s where I’m staying and that’s what we’re doing! Yes, I will still share about business and being confident in what the Lord’s called you to do!

But the photography lane is where we are staying for now!

I also know this is a season where my husband Alex is going to flourish with his business and you guys are going to literally lose your mind when you find out what he is working on and about to launch! (hint: if you’ve ever wanted to build a treehouse yourself, but needed someone to walk you through every single step you’re for sure going to want to follow him to see what he has coming! Alex Rorie 🙌🏼)

1000000% YES! I do! I offer maternity + newborns and also families! (And then of course weddings but we have cut way back! So if you’re getting married in 2027 message me NOW! 🫶🏼)

When we find a really good thing, we have to share it 🫡

That’s what happened when we built a greenhouse in our back yard and had no idea that it was going to financially provide for us the way it did!

we make four to $6000 a month renting it out to photographers, small businesses, you name it! It’s been so fun and Alex and I put together a business blueprint so that you can do it too. We’ve helped over 220 people start their own Greenhouse businesses all over the country and we truly believe it is such a fun way to make an income!

We lived in a moldy house for three years and had no idea. Our kids were sick and we were quite literally crying out to God for answers, now I’m sharing with you all our story and why we are building a house and how we are building it to help our kids heal & live in the healthiest home possible 🙏🏼🙌🏼🔨

In January, the Lord asked me to slow down in my photography business and be a more present mom with my boys. This was honestly so scary because we are building a brand new house and this made absolutely no sense at all 🫠 However, I knew that I knew that I knew that this was what the Lord was asking of me!

So I only took 12 weddings this year and took a $40,000 pay cut not knowing how the Lord would provide, but trusting that He would

In April, I was meeting with a business coach and she asked me “Have you ever thought about teaching people how to build and run a Greenhouse Rental business like you and Alex do?”

I had never thought of that, but I was willing to give it a shot. I am a big fan of saying yes to something and seeing how it goes. 🤪

I got to work and created the Greenhouse Method Blueprint and launched it not knowing how it would go, like I literally thought maybe five people would buy it! Fast forward six weeks and the launch ended up making over $40,000. But I need you to know that number because the Lord didn’t just provide he provided exactly what we needed.

Alex and I usually do 20 weddings a year (we used to do about 30 but when we had kids, we slowed down a bit) so when the Lord asked me to only do 12 weddings, that meant I was taking, you guessed it a $40,000 pay cut.

On paper, it made absolutely no sense and honestly maybe looked a little foolish because we were building this house, but I know my God and I know that He’s so faithful and that He will always provide for us. I know that being obedient to the Lord will always be better than trying something in your own strength, and I’m just so thankful for such a caring and loving Father!

So if you take away anything from this testimony, just know that the Lord is so good, He’s so faithful. Even when we have no idea how something is gonna turn out, He does and He’s with you the entire way 🫶🏼
