My iguana photo will be digitally showcased in a "Your Best Shot" art show at the Coningsby Gallery in London from July 9-11, 2026.

The iguana photo was made in January of this year on the island of St. Croix, USVI, where locals jokingly refer to large iguanas as St. Croix crocodiles.

This photo features some friends, and when I post the candid portrait on art sites, it gets plenty of attention and second looks.

My photo is artful enough to appear in a show entitled "Photographer of the Year." The top 30 out of over 39,000 entries will be printed, and about 350 photos will be digitally shown, like a slide show, on a TV screen at the Coningsby Gallery. My photo ranked high and will be digitally displayed.

This black-and-white portrait is shared with my friends' permission. Many thanks to my friends.

I entered a Portrait Photographer of the Year contest with over 7700 other photographers. My set of 4 portraits placed 104th and my top portrait of Saryta, a model from Dominica, in a photo with a waterfall in the background, placed 55th among all photos entered.

My top portrait was selected to be digitally showcased in the "Portrait Photographer of the Year" exhibition at The Coningsby Gallery, in London, UK. Opening night will be held at the gallery on Friday 19th December, 7pm-9pm.
