My heart is so heavy hearing the news of Dalton’s passing.

I took these photos of Chloe + Dalton just this past May, and I truly never could’ve imagined that just a few months later, these would become memories to hold onto so tightly.

There’s something so heartbreaking about taking someone’s photos and never knowing that one day, those pictures may be all someone has left. You’re just there capturing the smiles, the laughs, the way they look at each other … never thinking that those little moments will someday mean everything.

I’m so incredibly thankful I got to capture these for them. 🤎

Please, please pray for Dalton’s family. And especially pray for sweet Chloe. I can’t imagine the heartbreak she’s feeling, and I just pray she feels surrounded by love and comfort in the days ahead.

Life is so unbelievably fragile. Hug your people a little tighter. Take the pictures. Say “I love you” a little more. You truly never know when the last day you have with someone will be.
