Hi, I’m Lydia — owner and lead photographer behind Golden Leaf Photography.

I’m a second-generation photographer, a mom of three, and someone who believes professional photography should feel welcoming, approachable, and accessible for everyone.

Golden Leaf Photography is built around two experiences.

📸 Walk-In Studio Sessions

Our downtown Oxford studio offers quick, affordable portrait sessions without the need for extensive planning. Whether you need updated photos of the kids, a family portrait, headshots, or you’re simply celebrating a season of life, we’re here to make it easy.

When you visit the studio, you’ll be cared for by our amazing photography team:

Together, we’re committed to creating a fun, relaxed experience while helping you walk away with images you’ll love.

Walk-In Studio Hours:
📅 Wednesday: 10 AM – 7 PM
📅 Friday: 12 PM – 6 PM
📅 Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM
📅 Sunday: 2 PM – 5 PM

Can’t make it during walk-in hours? No problem! Custom sessions and appointments are available throughout the week and can be booked online at your convenience.

Things I’ve learned as a photographer:

The dads who least want to be there are often the ones helping me plan the rest of the session by the end.

They start out saying they’re only there because their wife made them come…

Then suddenly they’re finding locations, suggesting poses, carrying props, and making sure everyone gets “one more good one.”

Happy Father’s Day to the dads who pretend they don’t want photos but secretly make the session better.

And yes… I see you becoming the assistant photographer. 😂

The two locations I get asked about most are officially open for booking.

Private Farm Mini Sessions and Lake Mini Sessions are now available for a limited number of families, couples, maternity sessions, and seniors.

Each session includes:
• 15-minute session
• 3 digital images
• $99 reservation fee

Private Farm Minis
10 spots available

Lake Minis
10 spots available

These sessions may be scheduled July through October, making them perfect for updating family photos before the holiday season.

Once these 20 spots are filled, booking will close.
