I don’t know whether to scream from happiness or frustration, but after 13 DAYS, we finally have internet back at our studio, kind of!! 😂🙌

Meanwhile, we’ve had customers posting on public pages asking where their school pictures are. I understand wanting your pictures, so let me explain what’s been happening.

Everything we do to process and send school orders requires internet. When we’re offline, that work comes to a stop.

We tried Verizon. We tried Starlink. We tried sending orders through our phones. I have spent hours on the phone and trying different providers to get these orders out.

We have NOT been sitting around doing nothing. We’ve been trying every option we could find while catching up after the hurricane.

Our Mediacom is finally back, although right now it can only handle TWO of our four computers. But we were finally able to send the school orders from before the hurricane, which means those pictures should be coming very soon! 📸

Please give us a little patience as we catch up. We know you’ve been waiting, and we appreciate it more than you know.

And a little PSA: If you have a question or concern about a local business, please call them directly before asking Facebook. The people working on your order can usually give you a quicker and more accurate answer. 🙂 I have my personal phone number on my answering machine to give the best customer service.

Shout out to my staff for working tirelessly to get us caught back up!!!

📸 If you’ve ever wanted to take a hands-on photography course taught by someone who has been running a photography business for 25+ years, this class is for you!

There’s something to be said for learning from someone who does this for a living. Book knowledge has its place, but photographing families, schools, weddings, and seniors teaches you things you can’t learn from a textbook.

Daniel and I will be teaching our next One-Day Photography Workshop, sharing what we’ve learned through years of working with clients, solving problems, and getting the shot.

This would be perfect for moms who want better pictures of their children or students interested in learning a skill they could turn into a business. Homeschool students are welcome!

We’ll cover camera basics, exposure, composition, lighting, portraiture and posing, landscapes, editing, and creative techniques—with plenty of time to practice.

Whether you’re a beginner or already have experience, we’ll meet you where you are.

We’re not letting this hurricane ruin all the fun! 🦄🌳

Back by popular demand… our UNICORN and FAMILY TREE TUNNEL MINIS in the enchanted forest!

This coming Saturday, October 24, we have room for just a couple more princesses, knights in shining armor, or families wanting pictures in the tree tunnel.
There’s no session fee, and packages start at $175.

Our beautiful unicorn will be there, and these sessions always fill up fast. This is your last chance for unicorn minis until next year! 🦄

100% chance of rain. Seven families dressed and ready for beach pictures. And it was ALREADY raining at the beach! ☔️📸

Last weekend was definitely one for the books at Hartman Photography!

We had seven families scheduled for beach portraits, and the forecast was showing a 100% chance of rain. Not exactly what you want to see when everyone has coordinated outfits, gotten their children dressed, and made plans for family pictures!

But after 25 years of photographing thousands of families, we’ve learned that sometimes you just have to get creative and make it work!

Instead of canceling on everyone, we found the most gorgeous botanical gardens with a beautiful covered wooden pavilion, and we were able to save the day!

And I absolutely LOVE how these pictures turned out! 😍

We even got some of the most FUN pictures of children playing in mud puddles! And to top it all off, the rain finally stopped that evening, and we were able to finish the night ON THE BEACH with a couple of our families!

What started out looking like a complete washout turned into one of the most memorable photography days!

This is one of the benefits of hiring an experienced photographer. After 25 years in business, we’ve dealt with just about every kind of weather Florida can throw at us. We know how to adjust, find beautiful locations, work with the light, and still give our families pictures they’ll love.

A huge THANK YOU to all seven families who trusted us, stayed flexible, and made the best of a very rainy day!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 🙌🏼 📷
Hartman Photography is SO excited to officially be the new photographer for Pace High School!

We’re starting this spring with Cap & Gown portraits for the Class of 2027, but this is just the beginning!

We are already booked for next school year to photograph the ENTIRE school, including all underclassmen, seniors and staff!

For Cap & Gown pictures, we’re excited to do something a little different.

Instead of taking these pictures at the school, we’re welcoming Pace seniors into our spacious studio at 3690 Berryhill Road, just a few minutes from Pace High School.

We’ll have everything here that seniors need:

🎓 Caps & gowns
🎓 Cords & stoles
🎓 White shirts & ties for the guys
🎓 Mirrors and an area to get ready

We’ll even have an area where seniors can hang out with their friends while they’re waiting for pictures.

We are so grateful Pace High School has trusted Hartman Photography with their school photography, and we cannot wait to get started with the Class of 2027! 🎓

📸 THIS WEEK’S SCHOOL SNEAK PEEKS!

What a WEEK for Hartman Photography!

We had our biggest In Studio School Day yet with 77 students coming through the studio!! 😳📸

We are so thankful for the work and for every parent who continues to trust Hartman Photography with their children’s school pictures. After 25 years, we definitely don’t take that for granted!

AND our crew managed to photograph 10 schools this week! I’m so thankful for our staff who worked hard to get all 10 schools photographed, processed AND ordered already. That’s a lot of school pictures in one week! 😂

We have 8 more schools next week, but our busy fall school season is definitely starting to wind down.

So if we don’t photograph your school, your child missed picture or makeup day, or you just want to come to us for school pictures, we still have In Studio School Days available!

🎓 SENIOR MOMS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

We photographed a TON of seniors In Studio just this week from schools that Hartman Photography doesn’t currently photograph.

We had several parents reach out because they weren’t happy with their senior’s school pictures and asked if we would consider doing an entire In Studio Day just for seniors from other schools.

Of course we said YES! 😂

We had so much interest that we’re going to do ANOTHER Senior In Studio Day!

So if you have a senior and Hartman Photography doesn’t currently photograph your school, you can still come to us for those traditional senior pictures!

We provide the tux and drape, so you don’t have to worry about bringing those.
