Some people enter your life through someone else… and if you’re lucky the connection keeps growing.
I met Katie through my friend Dan. And even after his passing, she’s continued to keep that connection alive in the most beautiful way. Through friendship, through memories, through showing up.
Getting to photograph the people connected to the ones we love feels bigger than “just photos”. The people who mattered to us still ripple through the lives around them.
And standing here with her family, watching them laugh and love each other so effortlessly, I couldn’t help but think about how connected we all really are.
The memories fade but the photographs are a bookmark in time. Chapters of our ever evolving lives.
