Anytime I get the opportunity to shoot a mama and her baby girl I’m healed. It reminds me that while there’s a lot of ugly out there in the world. There is also so much more beauty. Recently there has been a lot of suicides from celebrities we know and love. But the real problem is mental health. I think it’s a problem every generation has casually glazed over. But with social media I think awareness is finally taking hold. 💖 I myself has always struggled with that looming feeling of depression. I never quite knew what it was, or what name to call it. Life is hard and it can sometimes feel like life wants to hold you down. Like when they say “chase your dreams” sometimes they forget to tell you that in doing so sometimes you can end up broke, homeless and alone. They say “don’t give up” but they forget to mention how sometimes you just wanna take a nap. 😴 but as life might have it there is also always a rainbow after the rain. Being alive still, seeing people, capturing them as they let love transcend them. I am always humble and reminded that there is something for everyone. I hope I wasn’t too cryptic. I hope I wasn’t too cliche. I guess... not quite sure what I’m trying to say, I could just quote Ellen and end this post with “be kind to one another” - .
I want to recognize the people who make this gorgeous image with me 🌾 florals by 👶 mama
