In this video, Paul shares the importance of Diné cultural teachings passed down by our elders. They remind us to never forget where we come from or who we are as Dine.

Our elders prayed for us to have our ntl’iz (hard goods) and yodi (soft goods), encouraging us to wear our traditional clothing with pride, honor our Navajo language, and cherish our jewelry. The stones in our silverwork (turquoise, coral, abalone shell, jet, and white shell) come from Mother Earth and represent our connection to her.

Wear your traditional attire, adorn yourself with your jewelry, speak your language, and always be proud to be Navajo.
