Sometimes photography becomes more than just photos. Sometimes it becomes a way to honor love.

A dear friend of mine experienced an unimaginable loss when her son passed away suddenly at the young age of 30. Just days later, his partner—heartbroken from the loss—also passed away.

Before this tragedy, she had purchased a 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 from me for the two of them so they could capture their love together.

They never had the chance to use it. 🥺

Instead of letting that gift go unused, she asked if we could 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, as a way to spread love and kindness in their memory.

California seniors 🎓

I’ll be back in California April 18–20 for a few senior portrait sessions, and I still have 5 spots available.

I know families usually have a few questions before booking, so I created this quick FAQ to help explain how the sessions work.

My goal is always to have your photos finished within 30 days, so you’ll receive them before graduation for announcements, sharing with family, and celebrating this big milestone.

Since I now live in Nevada, I’m only able to photograph in California a few times each year, so I try to open a handful of session spots whenever I’m in town.

As of today, it is bittersweet to share that I am officially closing my photography books and moving on to a new venture.
