Hey y'all.

As much as we hate to keep missing out on things, especially on capturing your life moments for you, unfortunately this car accident debacle was worse than we thought.

On top of Aly's right arm being broken, I has had nerves in my neck burned, which has also affected functionality in both my hands.

This is why you have seen us at events such as Pride without the camera, as much as it pains us.

Thankfully, Aly has been back at work almost 9 months now. She has been holding her office almost entirely by herself, which took up a massive amount of her time, while I've been holding the fort down at home. Thankfully, there's now a second person in her department, so it's not all on her anymore.

We're hoping to get things back to normal soon, but Aly hasn't even picked up the camera since before the wreck. There's also permanent nerve damage in her entire arm that we have to figure out how to work around, so hopefully we'll be able to get her back at it soon. Her baby sister graduates this year, and yall know how Aly is about graduation pictures with her sisters.

We hope to see everyone soon. And we would also like to apologize for missing the monthly markets as well. There has been some impact to our mental health as well that has been being taken care of.

So if everyone could send good/healing vibes, light a candle, prayers, whatever your thing is, it would be appreciated. We love each and every one of you and hope to be able to serve y'all again soon.

Hey, y'all. Aly and Chris here.

We know there's been a delay in posting, and for that, we deeply apologize.

Chris and I were in a car accident by no fault of ours at the beginning of December, in which my right humerus was broken. Also, Chris has been having some nerve issues as well.

We know that this post is coming months later, but as anyone who has had this issue can understand, sometimes legalities are involved.

Unfortunately this has affected the both of us in ways that we can only begin to fathom. I have not been able to return to work since then, although I will come the end of April.

We appreciate everyone's patience with us, and ask that y'all send healing, prayers, whatever your faith preference is. It is appreciated.

Again, we do apologize for any and all delays and keep in mind that everything we do is free of charge/by donation, and we understand that some of y'all are frustrated, but we do understand and are doing the best we can with the cards life has dealt at the moment.

Hey, y'all.

We haven't forgotten about pictures that were taken. We know by now, y'all are used to us having them out.

And we apologize that they're not.

We lost our fur baby Whiskey on May 31st. Technically before pride, but the depression still got to us.

We just got our new fur baby Lulu to help us deal, at the recommendation of several friends.

We promise they will be out shortly, and we appreciate your patience.

Hey, y'all!

We know it's been awhile, and we just want to say, it's good to be back.

We had some things we were dealing with, all is well though!

As we stated in October, the team here believes in freedom of religion. With that being said, when this beautiful woman who is dear to all of us here, asked for help updating her pictures, we couldn't say no!

And in staying true to the Ms. Brandy spirit, it had to be done at her home, Grace UMC. Not only was she fun to work with, but the outside scenery and weather was amazing as well.

Ms. Brandy will forever have a place in our hearts, and is a true embodiment of what all Christians should be. There is nothing we wouldn't do for her, just as there is nothing we wouldn't do for the rest of our friends and family, because she is family.

We are honored to once again work with her, and look forward to doing so again in the future! ❤️ Sis Brandy Dudley

We are beyond excited to be featured in this months article by The Satanic Temple. We were overwhelmed when we realized our pictures had gone GLOBAL in the news (as in Chris' mom in Australia saw the unbaptisms on the news and asked if Life in Lenses was ours, because it was mentioned), and then our friendly Satanic minister Tim Leviathon shared this link with us.

This is beyond words, and we are just astounded. This is amazing.

Hey y'all, Life in Lenses team here! Just to make things clear, as we did in June, we also believe in freedom of religion, and freedom from religion. Everyone has a right to their various religious beliefs, and everyone is beautiful.

That being said, Saturday, 10/29/22, we were invited to the second annual Pagan Pride Festival in Tyler, TX and we got to witness our friends at The Satanic Temple DFW and The East Texas Satanic Alliance perform unbaptism ceremonies, a metaphorical ceremony in which one denounces their baptism for various reasons. While there was severe backlash from the Christian community regarding this due to lack of understanding, the event carried on. For reference, TST actually does not worship "Satan" and not all Pagans are Satanists.

The looks of joy on the participants faces is definitely something to be documented. And we are proud to have been a part of supporting the community in telling others "We won't be silenced" and "This is our town too."

We know there hasn't been a whole lot of activity on here recently. And for that we sincerely apologize. There has been a lot of life changes going on in each of our lives. It's not an excuse, but it's all that can be said.
