I can’t believe I never shared a peek into these Motherhood sessions 🥹✨

Life has had me a little Instagram MIA lately. Between a 5-year-old, 2-year-old, and 6-month-old, most of my time and energy has been spent being in full mom mode—and honestly, I’m so thankful for it 💫

Staying active on social media can feel like a job all on its own 😅 so posting here has definitely taken a back seat lately.

But I’m still here—booking, shooting, planning, and creating behind the scenes 💫

And while catching up on galleries, I realized these full of COLOR Motherhood sessions never made it to the feed.

So here’s a little peek, using only the photos I’ve had time to download, lol. I am OBSESSED.

When my sweet friend invited me to be in front of the camera for her Motherhood Minis - I almost declined.

At 6 months postpartum with my third baby, I still don’t feel like myself. I’m still waking up *with all my kids 🤣* all night. Nursing around the clock. Working too many mornings to make it to the gym regularly.

Finding last minute outfits sounded overwhelming and after shooting 34 minis + regular sessions myself, I didn’t have the energy.

I still have ‘baby weight’ to lose and the bags under my eyes have bags, lol.

But, SILLY ME, to think my children will one day look back on these photos and care how tired I looked or how much I weighed.

Don’t wait. Book the session. Take the photos. Get IN them. These photos are for us as moms, too. But, they’re also for our children to have. We’re in a unique position to gift our children with high quality images of their childhood - not just the Kodak ones our parents printed at Walgreens lol

Anyways that’s my rant in honor of Mother’s Day! Have a beautiful weekend! Hand the phone to someone else and get in the photos with your kids ✨💘

Family sessions that feel like YOU >

Last week I had the honor of documenting ‘s HOME workshop in Palm Beach! 🏠💓🌴

And while I was suppose to be capturing the photographers + content, I couldn’t help but snap a few fun shots here and there (especially when they’re of my girl ) ✨

But seriously I had the best time capturing HOME, connecting with like-minded women, picking up some new tips and tricks, and mostly, being there for my friend as she poured her heart into her work.

Now - who wants to book a fun summer session?!

FRIDAY! It has been such a whirlwind of a week! I feel like I’ve lived 1000 lives since last Friday 😅

A while ago, I made a change in how I shoot sessions that totally changed the outcome of my galleries.

I stopped trying to capture what I THOUGHT client’s wanted, and started trying to capture what I would want in my own family photos.

The outcome? More genuine, organic, true moments.

What kind of photos would I want of my newborn baby?

Which details would I want captured in those first few weeks?

What fun moments with dad would I want on camera?

I started looking for inspiration in my day today. How my daughter grabs my finger, how my son’s small hands play with my necklace, how they both jump on dad’s back without warning.

THOSE are the moments I want to remember (and capture for you).

When we look back on our family photos - I want to hear their laughter, remember their toothless smile, and picture their little feet running down the hallway.

Friday is good because Sunday is coming ✨

Easter is easily my favorite holiday (next to Christmas). I love a yard filled with colorful eggs, spring flowers on the table, and yummy food in the oven.

I can’t wait to be with family as we celebrate His sacrifice, grace, and resurrection.

Happy [and honored] to slow down and capture this family during such beautiful and busy time in their life. Super Bowl win + new baby sister all within a few weeks - what a time to celebrate 🥲

No distractions. No rush. Just little hands, salty air, and moments you wish you could freeze forever.

This season of life is messy, beautiful, fleeting—and so worth remembering.

The way they reach for you.
The way you look at each other.
The in-between moments (and the chaotic ones) you didn’t even realize were magic.

That’s what I’m here to capture 💫

God has blessed me with four nephews, and today the littlest guy turns one!!! I was lucky enough to capture it at one of my favorite spots, too. Whats better than cake & cows? 🐮
