I was scrolling through my feed this morning and it hit me hard: this stage in life feels weird sometimes.
Hear me out. We’re all about the same age, yet living drastically different lives.
I see people I know getting engaged, some getting married. Some are just starting their families, announcing pregnancies and births. Some are raising fearless toddlers, while others are parenting rebellious teenagers. Some are going a completely different route, enjoying life on the road exploring the world as childless adults. Some are going back to college for a higher education or for the first time.
And I’ve realized, we’re not all meant to be living on the same timeline.
We’re not late or early.
We are exactly where we are.
Everyone is on such a different path in life, yet here we all are, figuring it out. Living, trying to make the most of every moment we have, before it becomes a memory.
So if you’re feeling like I did this morning, like you’re late for something in life, or or like choosing one path over another means that you’ve missed something, please remember this:
You haven’t missed anything, you’re not late, and your life doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be a great life!
Contrary to what we see when we scroll through the most curated parts of people’s lives on social media, maybe we’re not supposed to have it all figured out by now.
Maybe this is the part where we just get to keep becoming who we’re meant to be. And I think that’s the most beautiful thing.
