In this city of endless yellow bridges,
another one has been built.
It’s crescent stretches over the entire city,
a silent rainbow
So every time we look off the cliff of the incline, down into the three rivers below us, we remember
How on the day it was built, we saw humanity and souls and reunions and compassion
And every time the yellow rainbow peeks through again
We remember how long it’s been since the drought.
May the souls of
Daniel Stein obm,
Joyce Fienberg obm,
Richard Gottfried obm,
Rose Mallinger obm,
Jerry Rabinowitz obm,
Cecil Rosenthal obm,
David Rosenthal obm,
Bernice Simon obm,
Sylvan Simon obm,
Melvin Wax obm,
And Irving Younger obm be elevated, and may we continue to live as we have lived the past 24 hours- with our hearts on our sleeves and our souls on our faces.
