Another year, another 50 Mile March. Super grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the media team again. I spent this morning photographing some of the marchers and volunteers along the way.

The 50 Mile March is more than just completing a difficult physical challenge. It raises awareness of veteran homelessness and mental health among veterans, while reminding us that no one should have to face those struggles alone. Asking for help is not a weakness. It’s a sign of strength.

I spent a few hours this morning photographing the Heartland Pride Official Omaha Pride Parade. It was a day full of people celebrating who they are, supporting one another, and enjoying time together. And of course, lots of color, joy, and plenty of hugs and smiles. 🙂

This is my second year on the media team for the 50 Mile March, and it’s just as meaningful as the first!

I spent a few hours yesterday photographing the qualifier at Chalco Hills. It is an honor to be part of this group and to document each journey leading up to the march in August.
