Beautiful shot of nature doing it’s thang
Blue Mushroom (𝘔𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢): Mycena is a large genus of small saprotrophic mushrooms that are rarely more than a few centimeters in width. They are characterised by a white spore print, a small conical or bell-shaped cap, and a thin fragile stem. Most are grey or brown, but a few species have brighter colours such as this new blue mushroom. If you've already heard this, our apologies as we mentioned this in the Spring but have had a few people messaging us asking about it.. this is a fascinating tiny fungi that has been discovered in the past year by Eric Cho in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
