Grand Junction had about a 5 minute downpour followed by this stunner of a sunset - I had to stop and get the panoramic view of Mount Garfield on our way out of town 😍😍😍

It takes a LOT of time to go through all my photos to make a photo dump like yesterday's, but I genuinely love doing it and catch myself getting heavily distracted reminiscing on old portraiture shoots. Just thinking about where folks have ended up through time, especially all the seniors, rapidly growing children and married couples.... the bonds Ive built with clients that've become great friends! 👏
Ive learned so much and have just come to treasure that part of what I do deeply, the fine art of collecting moments for those around me 🥰 📷 ❣️

Happy World Photography Day 2026 📷

A global celebration commemorating August 1839, when the French government purchased & released Louis Daguerre's patent for the Daguerreotype photographic process and made it free for the world to use - and just look at how far we've come... i wonder if they ever could've imagined we would end up here, where most every person walking has a miniature camera in their pocket, living in a world of social media where we post "content" and otherwise share our lives, our opinions and our thoughts, all in photo form ✨️
A moment.
A place.
A person.
A pattern.
