I've been running into a number of photography groups on Facebook that suffer from totally unacceptable administrative practices, no administrative practices whatsoever, or fluid or incoherent applications of their own rules in an arbitrary and capricious fashion. It's time to change this practice.

I ran into one group that the admins treat a good number of their members in a totally dismissive fashion. The Admins do whacky things and then refuse to respond or make it impossible to respond, not that they would ever respond to begin with. I've been contacted by a large number of people in this group who have been treated wrongly with abject indifference by the Admins.

That said, I think it's time to create an alternative photography group on Facebook for serious photographers where they can go and not be walked on by Admins who simply refuse to address issues.
