***Residential Structure fire*** at 14:19 Powderly Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a out of control grass fire on CR 44140, Brush 81 arrived on scene first to find a single story residence with heavy wind driven fire moving quickly throughout the structure, Brush 81 conducted a rapid primary search and found no victims, and immediately called for a 1st alarm summoning Powderly Fire Engine 81, Tanker 81, Faught Fire Tanker 2, Engine 2, Engine 1, Novice Fire Brush 1, Lamar Point Engine 152, Hopewell FD, Blossom FD, Chicota FD to the scene. ***Swift Water Rescue*** At approximately 11:00pm Novice Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle in high water at the 8600 BLK of CR 45600. On arrival found a garbage truck nearly completely submerged in swift water with one victim trapped on top of the truck. The Powderly Fire Departments technical rescue team arrived along side Paris Fire Department, Lamar County Emergency Management, and LCSO worked together to rescue the victim successfully.

***6 Alarm Grass/Brush Fire*** Powderly Fire was dispatched to report of a grass fire off cr 43200. On arrival of Powderly Brush 83 and Brush 82 found heavy fire conditions with crowning fire moving towards several residences on CR 45200. Due to the size, critical fire weather and fuel load a evacuation of cr 45200 and parts of cr 45080 were declared and a all call for all Lamar County Fire Departments was requested summoning 20 Fire Departments to the scene also including Lamar County Emergency Management, Texas Forest Service, Lamar County CERT and LCSO. The fire was stopped successfully by Powderly, Chicota, Faught and Lamar Point firefighters before it could cause any damage. In total the fire was 7 acres.

***1 Alarm Residential Structure Fire*** at approx 3:04 pm Powderly firefighters noticed a large smoke column behind the Valero gas station on CR 44060, Brush 81 and Engine 81 self dispatched and arrived to find a small residential camper trailer on fire with heavy smoke showing out of the building, Powderly Fire called for a 1st Alarm which called Faught Fire Tanker 2, Lamar Point Engine 152 and Chicota Fire Engine 71. Powderly Fire then made a interior attack and conducted a primary search of the building. The fire was isolated to the kitchen with minimal smoke damage. The were no injuries reported

***Conx Fire*** At 0730 this Morning Powderly Fire Engine 81, and Tanker 81 were dispatched to the Powderly Trade days for a report of a structure fire involving 3 Con X containers being used as a store and a residential house. Powderly Engine 81 arrived and found heavy fire inside the containers, Engine 81 made fire attack while Faught Fire Tanker 2 and Lamar Point Engine 152 made a primary search. The fire was extinguished within minutes successfully with no injuries reported. Also on scene were Chicota Fire Tanker 71, Hopewell Tanker 311 and LCSO
