39 years.

Grateful to be standing in these boots that have grounded me in meaning and purpose. Some of life‘s greatest teachers have been the painful seasons and the beautiful ones alike. Both reminding me that authenticity always outweighs perfectionism. I value depth and good energy, people who make others feel seen and can laugh at themselves. I think we spend so much of our lives trying to appear impressive when really most of us are just craving what feels real. In a world of artificial intelligence and disconnection, be the human. Be the person who still brings warmth into the room. ♥️

Nine years ago, I picked up a camera.

What I didn’t realize was that I wasn’t just changing careers, I was choosing a long conversation with myself. That involved courage, identity, creativity, worth, and what it means to build a life that feels honest.

Photography has been present through so many versions of me. Through change, growth, uncertainty, and seasons that stretched me far beyond business. It has taught me that the outer work and inner work are never separate. How we create often reflects how we are learning to live.

What I know now is that becoming is never finished. There is no final version of ourselves to arrive at, no point where growth asks nothing more of us. And maybe that’s what makes life meaningful. The permission to keep evolving, to deepen, to begin again, even after years of building.

Nine years in, and in many ways, I feel like I’m just getting started.

If you’re in a season of stretching, questioning, rebuilding, or quietly becoming, keep going. So much of what is meant for you is still unfolding 🤍.

Oscar came to me with a clear vision of what he wanted. A quiet and breathtaking proposal surrounded by Colorados beauty and all the snow (which was a little iffy given our current dry season). Good planning, clear communication, and trust made the moment completely fall into place. I couldn’t be happier for Ari + Oscar ♥️.
