This was back in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy passed Florida in the Atlantic near the Bahamas and moved towards the upper east coast of the United States. The sheer force of hurricanes and the ocean is mind boggling to me. These waves are normally minimal but that day they destroyed part of the pier. I hope everyone is safe and preparing for Dorian!
