Going forward, I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children’s faces, signed released or not.
I will be blurring and covering children’s faces in the images even doubling it that I share publicly. It’s sad that this is happening but I would do anything to protect your children.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home. So, we should probably talk about the recent federal court ruling involving AI-generated child sexual abuse material. The court ruled that the federal government cannot criminalize the private, in-home possession of obscene AI-generated CSAM under the statute at issue so anyone can go and use any picture of a child’s face or body and make child sexual abuse material and it is completely LEGAL.

My mom Marilyn owns Eyewear Care business and has been for 5 1/2 years. It started out at home where I grew up outside of Spencer. It expanded to Mitchell, Howard, & Parkston.

What does she do?
🤓She is an Optician. She repairs glasses for $10 and sells prescription eyeglasses/sunglasses.

What got her started as an Optician?
😎One of our long time family friends Peggy asked her to come to the eye clinic in Salem to meet the eye doctor. She did not know why but found out quickly! Peggy was working across the street from the clinic so they hollered back and forth at each other. LOL

How long has she been working as an Optician?
👓She has worked at the Salem Eye Clinic for 17 years. Mabee Eye Clinic from Mitchell doctors came there every Wednesday until the eye clinic in Salem closed.

What got her started her own business?
🕶️After the eye clinic closed in Salem. One day she was between jobs and had a light bulb moment that she could run her own optical shop.

What is one thing she love about her business?
💗Her biggest love of her business is helping her customers and saving them money!
