I was able to sneak out and get my fall color fix in during a recent business trip to the East Coast! These gems were taken only 30 minutes from downtown Baltimore. I had fun stitching together 45 pictures to make the Dam panorama. I was on my tip toes holding my camera over the side to get these captures and am happy that they were able to merge together. And the end result looks pretty cool! I hope you enjoy these fall captures from the beautiful state of Maryland 🙌🙌🙌📸🍂🍁

Sunrise at Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness 🌄
The moment that the sky turned from darkness to dawn I found myself surrounded in an unbelievable surreal and out of this world landscape. I was enchanted by it from the moment I could see it and spent the next 6 hours wandering around the different hoodoo and rock formations taking really cool panoramas!!

Sunrise at Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness 🌄
Exploring the maze of hoodoos and eroded formations at dawn felt like walking on another planet. As the sun broke the horizon, light flared through the stone spires—perfect conditions for capturing wide panoramas of this surreal New Mexico landscape.

Sunset at Great Sand Dunes National Park 🌅
From the top of the dunes, the entire valley glowed as the sky turned brilliant shades of pink—the best sunset I’ve ever witnessed. Wind-swept ridges faded into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, a reminder of how wild and alive this landscape truly is.

Winter sunset from the rim of Canyon de Chelly 🌄
Captured this panorama from the cliffs overlooking the silent canyon below—where Navajo families still live and farm as they have for generations. The soft winter light revealed layers of sandstone shaped by thousands of years of wind, water, and history.

The magic of the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado absolutely took my breath away. An unexpected slice of the Sahara Desert at the foot of the majestic 14,000ft tall Sangre de Christo Mountain Range. Hiking to the top of the dunes at sunset was one of my top lifetime moments. I was taking panoramas left and right! I hope you enjoy these views and captures from my adventures.

Durango & Silverton Railroad magical scenery!! The train ride to Cascade Canyon in wintertime is a must do when visiting Durango! I was able to capture this panorama during our lunch break and love how it turned out!

Owen’s River Serenity. I always love stopping by the Owen’s River when visiting the Eastern Sierras. It is such a tranquil river and always brings me peace of mind. The views of the river and distant mountains are so beautiful!!

Eastern Sierras Milky Way Skies Panorama. This capture was a miracle quite frankly. I left my tripod in the car to save 2 lbs from my 45 lb backpack knowing I wouldn't be able to shoot the Milky Way during the trip. However, curiosity got the better of me and I tried anyways by propping my camera up in the dark on top of several rocks and repositioned them with each of the 24 30 second long. I was able to stich together the images for this Milky Way Panorama!
