🤍 **You don't have to feel "photo ready" to be part of your baby's newborn session.** 🤍

Bringing a baby into the world is an incredible experience, but it's also exhausting. You're healing, adjusting to a new routine, and running on very little sleep. If you're not quite ready to step in front of the camera, that's completely okay.

I want you to know that you can still be part of your baby's story.

Some of my favorite images don't show a parent's face at all. The gentle way your hands cradle your newborn, your fingers wrapped around their tiny hand, the way you hold them close—those little details tell a beautiful story of love.

Years from now, your child won't notice whether your hair was done or if you were wearing makeup. They'll see the hands that comforted them, protected them, and loved them from the very beginning.

And if you decide during your session that you'd like to step into a few photos, we'll make it simple, relaxed, and beautiful. There is no pressure, only the opportunity to preserve this precious season in whatever way feels right for you.

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your **second or third trimester**. When you book with me, I reserve your due date on my calendar and then schedule your session once your little one arrives.

This means one less thing for you to worry about during those first few busy days with your newborn!

One of the questions I get asked most often is...

"Can we bring our older children to our newborn session?"

The answer is absolutely!

Welcoming a new baby is a family milestone, and I love capturing those first moments between proud big brothers, sweet big sisters, and their newest sibling. These are the photos your children will treasure for years to come.
I know little ones don't always have the longest attention spans, so I make sibling photos one of the first things we do. Once we've captured those precious family moments, older siblings are free to take a break, have a snack, or head home with another adult if you'd like. That way, we can finish baby's portraits in a calm, relaxed environment.
My goal is to make your newborn session as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for the whole family. ❤️
