This entire shoot was inspired by my grandmother's red dress. I wanted to create a portrait that was vintage, timeless, and red. After gathering inspiration my beautiful model, helped me create this classic photo and couldn't be happier with outcome. I'm inspired with the idea of creating a rainbow of photos using different color dresses as the inspiration. Red is my favorite color. What color would you choose?

A closer look at the precious images that inspired and went into my Heritage photo.

I became a photographer to preserve memories like this. Because all my life I grew up with these treasured photos. I may not have known everyone in these images but they are a part of me and I am so grateful that at one time they decided to sit for a professional portrait.

That is what I want to bring to you. Photos that your family will look back on and say, "that is me, I am them". Something for your loved ones to treasure.

It's International Women's Day and I always do a post celebrating the incredible women I've photographed over the years. I wasn't able to include them all in this reel but I hope they all know how amazing they are! Every single one of them are true rock stars and deserve to be celebrated every day. This year my heart is with the women in Ukrain as they continue to endure war. With all women who stand, fight, and have to escape true injustice, protect their babies, leave their loved ones, and survive horrible atrocities. This world can be so full of hate but it can also be full of love. I see it it now and pray those fighting to survive feel loves strength and keep fighting another day.

Photoshoots are the best for so many reasons! But a photoshoot with me is pure magic!

We work together to make sure the session is just what you want. With hair, makeup, styling, and posing you walk away feeling confident. But even better than that confidence are the fabulous photos you take with you.

Seriously, it doesn't matter if the session is just for you, with family and friends, even you four legged loved ones, you will end up with photos that celebrate you and your magic!

Sometimes you just get caught in the rain and the unexpected happens. This was not the image we set out to make but it's the one we ended up creating. It has Audrey Hepburn vibes and I love it!

BTW, the other image is still simmering in my mind. It will happen one day.

I managed two photoshoots during our summer road trip and have finally edited this one. living in Los Angeles, I don't often find fields of flowers. It was a goal of mine to find prairie grasses and do a photoshoot with Eve. This is photo 1 of 2.
