When I'm with my ride along clients it is all about you getting the shots. However I do carry equipment to look at settings and possible compositions. Some people like my repeat client Chris just want me to make images along side them. This Bald Eagle was sitting in a tree before lining up the landing location for a drink and bath. I snapped a shot after it had flown right at us and was over head. Its all about being there at he right time.

Right back into the swing of things after a quick vacation in Point Reyes, California. Follow me to see images I will post. This afternoon produced Ferruginous, red-tailed and red shouldered hawks with 2 Bald Eagles in the blue hour.

After a fantastic full day photo safari I could not help but grab a image of the Mars Occultation. We had watched this unfold over cloud capped mountain range on the drive back.

Man I tried to get this pump to work but only sand fell out. I'm pretty sure there has not been a tanker delivery in this town for many many years.

Welcome to Central California. This is a time of year to be careful in this neck of the woods. Southern Pacific Rattlesnakes are out and about. This one was missing its rattle so be aware there is not always a warning sign. I carry snake hooks and tongs on my ride alongs and take the opportunity to make images of reptiles when I can.
