Gorgeous morning yesterday for Sandra & Bill's engagement session at Willowdale Estate! I may be quasi retired from weddings, but I will still accept some on a case by case basis. Having been friends with Sandra for years it was an easy decision to say yes when she reached out right after Bill proposed to her.

Why do we love being at recital rehearsals too? 👀📸

For two very important reasons...

✨ It gives us the opportunity to see the dances before recital day, so we know what to expect and can be ready to capture those special moments when the curtain goes up.

✨ Sometimes the best memories happen when nobody is expecting them. A proud wave from the stage. A perfectly executed lift. A little encouragement. A jump frozen at just the right moment. The little things that make recital season so special.

Don't get us wrong, we love the energy and excitement of recital day. But rehearsals have a little magic of their own 💕
