I have no words to describe how beautiful my recent trip to California was. This was a short stop along 17 Mile Drive, just before the Lone Cypress. This trip has inspired me to explore Houston more. Let me know if you know of any hidden Houston gems! You have to work quite hard to find stunning natural areas in Houston, but I’m willing to investigate. 😆

Reflections • Two days until 2018 is over.
When I look back, I see: my world turning upside-down as a recent college graduate, the overwhelm of beginning a new chapter (new to corporate life, to the aviation industry, first-time apartment renter, full-time dogmom). I remember the pride of watching my parents pick up their lives and chase dreams (and a career) in Hawaii. I remember the discomfort of of a jaw bone graft and the joy of celebrating Yotham’s graduation and the privilege of being a part of a best friend’s wedding.
Most of all - this year I am grateful for health, family, and friends. ✈️ My 2019 travel list includes Chicago, DC, & Seattle; my to-do list includes studying for the GMAT, scaling up photography gigs, and moving to a new apartment with friends ☺️ So much to look forward to.
I hope your 2018 was a blast. Here’s to a brand new chapter 🥂 #2019

Just a quick note that this page will shortly change from “The Creme De La Em” (the name of my blog, which will still be available on my website) to “Emma Armer Photography” so that it more accurately reflects the purpose of the page. You might be notified about the name change.

There will be a lot of exciting things coming in 2019, and I’m looking forward to it already!
