How’d I get here and what’s our story? I’ll elaborate more (because no military story can truly be told in a social media post) later but here’s some highlights:

✨My husband commissioned in 2011
📦We moved to Jacksonville, FL where I officially launched my business in 2012, shortly after the birth of our oldest.
🏠We moved to Virginia in 2014. He deployed with the Navy Seals and I introduced him to our son when he returned from deployment.
☀️ Back to Jacksonville, FL - cue a short COVID induced deployment
🇯🇵 The Navy sent us to Japan. We welcomed our third child abroad and explored a part of the world that we miss daily.
✈️ Pensacola, FL currently and watching the Blue Angels a million times.
🧐 Lots on the horizon for us in the next 6 months, so stay tuned.

I share this because we walk this military journey too. The beautiful moments. The sacrificing moments. The crying moments. The surrendered moments. The celebratory moments.

So many stories that we all could write a novel, whether it’s been 2 years or 32. My goal is to preserve your stories. A sweet time capsule to each story.

After more than 14 years of photographing military events and milestones around the world, I am honored to announce the launch of Salute + Story Co.

Born from my experience as both a photographer and a military spouse, Salute + Story Co. is dedicated to preserving the moments that define a military journey—the retirements, homecomings, change of command ceremonies, final flights, winging events, and the countless stories in between.

As a military spouse, I understand that behind every ceremony is a family, a sacrifice, a season of service, and a story worth remembering. These moments deserve more than documentation; they deserve to be preserved with intention, authenticity, and artistry.

Through Salute + Story Co., I will proudly serve military families and service members throughout the Southeastern United States, creating timeless imagery that honors both the milestone and the legacy behind it.

As I begin this new chapter, I have a small favor to ask.
