This was such a powerful show for me. My second time seeing Authority Zero, but this time at The Handlebar.
This has become my absolute favorite place to photograph bands. The lighting for these guys was a little tough though.
It changed right after 3 perfect sets with the best lighting I've ever seen in there. But even with the absence of a front light, I'm still really happy I managed these. Such a glow up from 2014 shots!

I'm so grateful for the chance to cover these guys again. They hold a very special place in the jukebox of my mind. Hearing their new material live was such a welcome serotonin boost, and I still find myself flashing back to those moments in my head, every few hours.

The Handlebar offers this unique experience where you're LITERALLY inches from your idols, your favorite artists, and the world just stops for a few hours. One of the few places I welcome the feeling of sound.

Nothing else matters in those moments, because the memories made are absolutely everything. There's a magic in the air that is absolutely electric, and everyone is welcome. Folks look out for strangers, and everyone stops the pit to pick up a fallen soul. It's pretty incredible, and I hope you get to enjoy it sometime.
