A tuxedo and wedding gown on an ordinary street in Tremezzo. I LOVE this little set.⁠

After all the ornate rooms, manicured gardens and open water, the metal storefront and narrow alley gave us something completely different. A little more editorial, a little moodier, and still unmistakably Italy.⁠

After walking the trails at Fort Pickens, they headed down to the beach just as the sky started turning soft and pastel. The photo of Alex lifting her off the sand might be my favorite. Gracey Lynn’s dress caught the breeze, they were both laughing, and for at least a minute, everyone forgot how hot it was.⁠

Nate and Scott did not bring a traditional wedding party to Destin. They brought their best friends...which is much better.⁠

They rented a huge beach house, gathered 20 of the people they love most, and spent the week celebrating together. By the time we reached the beach for wedding party photos, everyone was fully committed to the assignment. Lots of hugs, lots of laughing, and absolutely no trouble figuring out who the fun friends are.⁠

Kate’s veil fell around her shoulders like a cloud, framing her beautiful curls, and the huge peonies in her bouquet looked perfect with her lace gown. There was so much softness in these few minutes before the ceremony.⁠

There was really only one way for the owner of the Pensacola Ice Flyers to enter his wedding reception. 🏒⁠

Sanri and Greg ran through a tunnel of hockey sticks while their guests cheered them onto the dance floor, and it was every bit as fun as it looks. Even Maverick, the Ice Flyers mascot, showed up to help celebrate!⁠

I love when couples bring pieces of their real lives into their wedding day, and this entrance was so perfectly them. Fun, personal, and completely adorable.⁠

This spring was WET, and Megan and Noah’s wedding day joined right in. The clear umbrella went with us from Old Christ Church to the yacht club, and Megan changed into sneakers to walk the dock without a second thought.⁠

I kept coming back to these in black and white. The gray sky, the sailboats, the wet boards...it all just worked. And Megan and Noah still look like they were having the best time. 🤍⁠

Nothing elaborate was needed. The clean lines of her gown, that long veil, and the way they kept looking at each other were more than enough.⁠

I love when couples choose to read their vows privately. There is something so special about stepping away from everyone for a few minutes and saying the things that are meant only for each other - no microphone, no audience, and no pressure.⁠
⁠
It creates a quiet little pause in the middle of a very full wedding day, and I get to photograph it from a distance while giving them space to be completely present with each other. The laughter, the tears, the long hug afterward - it all feels incredibly real and completely theirs.⁠

Private vows will always be one of my favorite wedding-day moments. 🤍⁠
