What you don’t see in these photos...
This sweet baby spent a good portion of our session crying.
Not because anything was wrong—because babies are babies (and sometimes they’re spicy!). They have their own schedules, preferences, and plans. Those plans don’t always include sleeping peacefully through a photo session 😂
We took breaks. We cuddled. We fed. We rocked. We followed baby’s lead.

One of the biggest worries I hear from parents before their session is, “What if my baby doesn’t cooperate?”
The truth is, I don’t expect that!
Years of photographing newborns has taught me that beautiful images happen when there’s patience, flexibility, and space for the real life that’s bound to happen.

Your job is to show up and my job is to take care of the rest! Newborn sessions are booking for September through December. If you’re expecting, I’d love to talk to you about scheduling your session!

“My family photos could never look like that, my kids don’t cooperate for photos”.

This is one of the top concerns I hear from parents, specifically toddler parents (I have a three-nager too, I empathize!)

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that if you ask a child to do something, they won’t do it 🙃 so what’s the secret to photos that FEEL like you? The secret to capturing the moments that will make your heart yearn for this stage of childhood?

Release your expectations. That’s it. Truly! Let them be. Don’t spend your session apologizing to me because they act like children (I am you, I promise I get it!). Let them be shy, let them be silly, let them explore. That’s where the good stuff is. And that’s what you actually want to remember.

👋Hi, I’m Victoria!

I’m a Peoria, Il newborn, maternity, and family photographer and I get to spend my days documenting some of the sweetest seasons in your family’s life. I don’t take a minute of it for granted!

My sessions are designed to feel calm, relaxed, and timeless. Whether you’re booking a newborn session, family, or anything in between, my goal is to create images that feel beautiful now and still feel meaningful years from now.

A few things about me:
✨I will 100% call your babies pet names like lump of sugar, bundle of love, and angel baby when I’m photographing newborn sessions
✨I refer to my three children as elves (mischevjous, jolly, and usually sticky) and they’re who inspires me while I’m photographing your families!
✨I think iced coffee is a travesty (hot forever and always, no matter the outside temperature).
✨I want every mom who steps in front of my camera to feel comfortable and cared for
✨Your family is your greatest treasure and I’m always honored when you trust me with your once-in-a-lifetime memories!

They’ll never be as little as they are today.

Sure, you could wait until next year to take photos.

Wait for your schedule to have more time. (spoiler: you’re never going to be less busy with children).

Wait until you lose the baby weight that’s been bugging you.

But you’d be missing out on how they are right now. The things you really want to remember forever.

Their little faces.

Their complete fascination and adoration (how lucky are we to be blessed with our children’s love?!).

Missing out on remembering each other during the chaos that early childhood can be.
