It’s fun turning one!

Capturing sweet memories has become one of my favorite things. The best part though is when you get to reconnect with people that you haven’t seen in years.

Once upon a time I taught Kaylee in tumbling class and now I got to capture sweet family moments for her. I’m so incredibly thankful.

I joined Kaylee and Danny for a backyard session and we were able to capture family photos and birthday memories. Thank you for trusting me to capture these moments! I loved spending time with you all.

Senior year sessions have officially begun for Julia!

Julia isn’t just a senior rep but someone I’ve gotten to watch grow up since she was little. I’ve taught her dance and tumbling and now she has become a positive role model and teacher herself. How is it possible that time has moved so fast?

For her first senior session, we explored several beautiful locations around Peoria, giving us so much variety and the perfect way to kick off her senior year. Will she get a ton of photos back? Absolutely! This is just one of the adorable outfits we shot photos in!

Josie is the queen of photos and has had my camera in her face since she was born. This girl had a vision and we nailed it. She brings out “the Josie look” and if you know her you know the look.

Alivia’s first senior session… how is this moment already here?

It feels like just yesterday I met Alivia, yet I’ve been so lucky to spend the past year getting to know her as one of my reps. Fun fact: I’ve actually been photographing her for a few years now at tumbling competitions!

If you don’t know Alivia then let me tell you she is the sweetest soul. Alivia is thoughtful, kind, and always ready with the best hugs. And that smile? The kind that lights up a room and never seems to leave her face.

Alivia isn’t just a senior rep, she’s also part of the Senior Story package, which means I get to follow her throughout this entire year. From sports to every season and all the little moments in between, we’re going to fill her gallery with memories that she and her family will cherish forever.

Capturing these memories is absolutely so sweet. I have gotten to grow so close with this little family , and I was honored to capture the newest member. Taylor and Gavin recently welcomed Nya, and she’s absolutely perfect.

This new chapter might just be my favorite session we’ve documented so far. I can already tell she’s going to follow in her momma’s footsteps and will be dancing and tumbling before we know it. Just look at those sweet tiny toes!

Birthdays are worth remembering. Each one marks another year of growth, change, and becoming who you’re meant to be.

Nevaeh turned 9 in April, and we celebrated with birthday photos in May, but we have been waiting for the perfect moment to get her into the studio. This little firecracker is growing up so quickly, and I’ve been so incredibly lucky to be her personal paparazzi since she was so little. Lucky for her, she has a mom who loves photos just as much as I do, so being in front of the camera comes naturally to her.

There’s always a reason for a photoshoot and moments like these are exactly why. Let me capture your child’s story so you can step out from behind your iPhone and be part of the memories too.

How sweet and a little bittersweet it is to start my senior reps on their senior photo journey.

It’s fine. There’s no crying in photography. (Okay, maybe it’s baseball, but we’re borrowing it for today. 😉)

Norah! The best part of spending a year with this girl as my junior rep is how close we've become. I can always count on her to keep me on my toes, teach me something new, and lovingly call me out on the way I say things. It’s one of the many things I love about her. Norah is honest, kind, and so much fun to be around.

As a senior rep, Norah has the Senior Story Package, which means we'll be capturing her senior year every step of the way with multiple sessions. Our first session was hot and humid, but you’d never know it from these photos!

Gabbi and Parker joined me for a session recently, and just look at what we captured!

When we first met up, there was a little disappointment with the lack of sunshine and the overcast skies, but it is safe to say we made our own sunshine. Gabbi absolutely lights up around Parker, and that says a lot because if you know her, you know she is already a burst of energy all on her own.

When it comes to couples sessions, I love letting things flow naturally. Your session should not feel overly posed or perfect because that is not real life. Instead, we will get the shots you love, add in a few guided moments, and then just let you be you, laughing, moving, and having fun together.
