Peacock Images, Art & Design had one of the most fun and memorable photo sessions of my career yesterday!

I was asked to photograph a mom and her kids, a family I had worked with several years ago, so I was especially excited to see them again. This session was going to be extra special because everyone in the family is celebrating a milestone birthday this year.

They wanted a combination of traditional family portraits and some fun, funny “Sears-style” photos, and I was completely on board!
When I arrived, Mom’s boyfriend was there as well, so we incorporated him into some of the photos. At one point, I asked him if he wanted to be in anymore photos. He said, “Yes, one more,” and I watched him reach into his pocket.

I immediately knew what was happening. I positioned myself and got ready because I knew I was about to witness—and hopefully capture—a very special moment.

Thankfully, I was able to photograph the entire proposal, along with the excitement and emotion that followed. What an incredible memory for this family to have captured and look back on for years to come!

This family was so much fun, and sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do. They made the heat, grass and bugs completely worth it! ❤️📸💍
