Pastels, golden light, and a bridal party that knew how to have fun. This crew brought the energy from the first frame to the last, and I’m a little obsessed with how the soft tones came together against the backdrop of their friends tree lined home, where they had their ceremony.

There are weddings that feel beautiful… and then there are weddings that feel genuinely personal from the very beginning of the day. Colette + Sebastian’s wedding at Harms Country Farms was one of those days where every part of the celebration reflected who they are and the people they love most.

From emotional first looks to nonstop laughter with the bridal party, this day was filled with moments that felt real, effortless, and unforgettable. One of the biggest highlights of the day was Colette’s first look with her dad — one of those quiet moments that instantly reminds you why wedding photography matters so much. The reactions, the nerves, the pride, the emotion… those are the memories that deserve to live on forever.

The bridal party absolutely brought the energy too. Each bridesmaid wore a different color dress, which created such a unique and elegant look throughout the day. It photographed beautifully against the countryside backdrop at Harms Country Farms and made the entire wedding feel stylish, modern, and full of personality without feeling overly formal. The guys kept things timeless with light-colored suits that looked incredible in the summer light and perfectly matched the relaxed luxury vibe of the day.

One thing we loved most about this wedding was how intentional Colette + Sebastian were about slowing down and actually experiencing the day together. The hugs from family members, the reactions during speeches, the laughs with friends, the in-between moments during portraits — those are the things that end up meaning the most years later.

As wedding photographers and filmmakers, these are the weddings we love documenting most. Genuine emotion. Beautiful light. Real connection. A couple who trusts the process and focuses on the experience instead of turning the day into a production.

There’s a specific kind of light that only shows up for about twenty minutes at the end of the day, and when it does, everything softens. Gauge and Liz got married yesterday, and as the sun started dropping we pulled them away for a few quiet minutes together. These are some of those frames.

Golden hour is the moment we plan the whole timeline around. It is worth stepping away from the reception for a few minutes, because this is the light that makes wedding photos and film feel timeless rather than just documented.

The .lighting Light Dome III was the MVP on this one, taming some seriously mixed lighting and keeping skin tones natural across every setup. Paired with the Lark Pro 2 Max lavs for crisp audio that cut right through the background noise and locked in on every subject.

Welcoming sweet Francesca into the world 💛 One of the highlights of our last trip to NY was getting to meet our newest great niece and photographer some quiet moments with Joey and Danielle in their first days as parents. She is already so loved.

The past day and a half has been such a painful experience. 💔

Our little buddy Miso passed away suddenly Monday morning. My body is sore from grief but I'm so happy I captured precious memories with him. He was ripped away from life at only 2 and half years old. It was the best 2 years of our lives for me and Lydia. He made it hard to leave the house in the morning and made us excited to come home every day. I loved him with everything I could. We hope we gave him the best life he could have had. I would just give anything to have another day with him.

We love you Miso and we will never forget you.
