Cherise Kiel Photography was founded in January 2009! I feel absolutely blessed to capture such important memories in my clients lifes. Some babies are smashers, some are more dainty and some don't like their cake at all. I always say smash sessions are 50/50 and to be prepared for anything. But mess or no mess, they are always adorable!

I've been photographing this young man since before he was born.

He started an amazing friendship between his mom and myself and I am forever thankful she hired me all those years ago to photograph her maternity session.

14 years later he is off to high school. I can't believe the young man he is growing into.

So often we stop doing individual sessions of our older kids/pre-teens and I want to do more!

They are really coming into their own, figuring out who they are, and they deserve to have a session just about them! Don't wait till their senior year, document their childhood every chance you get!

It's a day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so you can enjoy your BBQ today.

So while you are enjoying the long weekend and spending time with family and friends take a moment to remember those who died so you can.

And take a moment for those families who lost that loved one because memorial day isn't just a weekend for them, its every damn day.
