One of the hardest things to do in life is say goodbye... TAG Photography was dreamt up over a decade ago in a time where the scene needed me and I needed it. There were not as many photographers around doing it then so I could fake it till I made it. Music photography and this scene have given me so many fun memories and I have been invited / entrusted to shoot so many shows that I can't even begin to try and put a number on it. From KUKQ, to K and Z, Riot Night, and beyond... Thank you for over 10 great, yet at times grueling, years of letting me capture and help inspire the future generation of photographers in the Valley of the Sun. I made the comment a few years ago to my wife joking "I guess the scene doesn't need me anymore", as recently as a year ago I was saying it spitefully, and now I'm saying it gracefully... If you see me at a show with a camera I might be snapping just for my own fun and some nostalgia, but in the end it's all it was to be. I have no knowledge of the business aspect of photography, and the desire to make a living from it is not realistic with my life, with kids, work, and needing the security financially, and with insurance for my family. My 9 to 5 will always be my main grind and I continue to beat a dead cow artistically. This old dog hasn't learned the new tricks needed to evolve with the changing tide. Again, thank you anyone who has believed in me over the years, invited me out, etc... This really has been a dream of a ride.
