It’s that time again - headshot mini’s are happening July 8th!! 🎉
Not everyone needs a full branding session (yet). Sometimes you just need a fresh, confident headshot that actually looks like you. No AI or outdated headshots around here 🤫

No awkward posing because I guide you through the entire experience. I pose you and tell you what to do with your hands. I fix your hair and watch for the little details you don’t even realize matter.

So your photos feel: • natural, not stiff • polished, not forced • professional, without losing your personality

Your headshot shouldn’t feel like a stressful chore or a painfully posed moment. Although I know it’s not always fun being in front of a camera. But I’m on a mission to change that for you :)

Maybe you don’t need a full branding session yet, but updated headshots that you feel confident in!
I got you ✨

I like to say that my style of headshots is a lot different than what the industry set years ago. We’re ditching the yearbook looking backgrounds and moody lighting over here. I’m all for simple, clean, and bright headshots. While also popping in some fun color if it makes sense for the brand 🤗

I believe in natural posing.. not the stiff ones that just look uncomfortable. But I also believe in posing my clients so they never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera.

I’m a chronic hair fixer aka your personal hair stylist on-site.

I’m a firm believer that AI headshots ruin your brand and credibility. And they give you a false reality of what you actually look like. And with that, I will 100% hype you up in front of my camera. AI doesn’t do that 🫢🫣

I also think imperfect is better than perfect. People want to connect with real humans. Not ones that don’t have one single frizzy hair and a perfectly slimmed jawline.

We aren’t designed for perfection.
We’re designed to be real and authentic.

This weather has me ready to get in the water!! I recently captured the newest swimwear that is launching very soon! Designed by a dermatologist and is upf 50+ swim and activewear! Meet ☀️☀️

I met Ashley early on in her designing process. To see the final products in her hands was amazing!! She has poured her heart and soul into this brand. And I’m so thankful I was able to capture her product and launch photos 🎉

It’s always a joy when I get to work with another artist! Meet .johnsondesign - a super talented watercolor artist and pattern surface designer!! I first started working with Melissa a few years ago when she first started her business. I heard all about the vision and goals of where she wanted to be. And here we are today.. capturing those exact goals and dreams. She’s working with big brands and also building a community of artists where she teaches them how to do the same. How freaking cool is that!? I’ve witnessed the growth and been able to capture it all through my lens.

I have been loving fabric backdrops for photoshoots in my studios! I recommend for quality!

I’m using their new 5’x20’ lengths for this setup! I also love using their 14’ length on this stand. Comment “backdrop” for a direct link to shop all the colors.

Chapter 30 begins ✨

We spent the last 11 days exploring and living in a dream that we once prayed for! This time last year, we talked about the day that we would have a camper and could travel. My husband had just left his 9-5 and we were ready to fully live life! No more planning small trips that fit into his vacation time.

So we did it. 🗻
We purchased a camper in the Fall and just went on our first camper road trip for my 30th birthday. 🎉

We shut off all work, packed our family up, and left for Tennessee. The whole time, I felt at peace and so grateful that we have this opportunity to live life how we want. We’re not waiting until our 60’s to travel any time we want. We both are choosing to sacrifice the “set” paycheck for this. And let me tell you, it’s worth it!

Cheers to year 30 and a lot more road trips in my future ⛺️💗🎉✨

ANOTHER PHOTO STUDIO IS COMING TO CENTRAL IL!! 📸

The is a rental photo studio located right inside of Grand Prairie mall in Peoria, IL. It has been a dream of mine to start a second location that is a sister studio to ! Because two is better than one 😍

It’s been so clear that this area needs an indoor place to create content, shoot, and just feel inspired. I’m thrilled to bring another studio location to the area. 🎉

This space is going to be a dreaaam ✨ You can expect beautiful natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. Paired with white floors and white walls, it’s the perfect blank canvas that you can customize to fit your vision for your next photoshoot. What I love most is that you don’t have to be a professional photographer to use the studio. It’s great for business owners to come in and create reels, product photos, courses, and so much more! Bring your iPhone and your bestie. 🤳🏼📸

The studio will be opening in May (date TBD). I will be taking you along with behind the scenes of building the space over at . I’d love for you to follow along!
