It was a foggy, gloomy night out at the bay, but that didn’t stop the storytelling from unfolding. 🤍

A few years ago, a night like this would have terrified me creatively and honestly, maybe even last year. But I’m learning to lean into the lighting situations that challenge me instead of always looking for the “perfect” conditions.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about perfect light. It’s about the connection, the little moments, the movement, and the memories being made.

And sometimes, the most unexpected conditions create the most beautiful stories. ✨

It was a foggy, gloomy night out at the bay, but that didn’t stop the storytelling from unfolding. 🤍

My best advice for styling…

✨ Wear what feels like you and what you feel your best in.

You don’t need to completely change your style for photos. The goal is to feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself when you look back at these images.

Think about movement, too. Flowy dresses, relaxed jeans, cozy textures, bare feet, layering and especially pieces that let you move and interact naturally.

A dress catching just enough air.
Little feet running through the grass.
A mom pulling her child in close.

The way everyone naturally moves toward each other.
