“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”. Ok Dr. Seuss I’m going to do my best. Today was my final library volunteer shift after 13 years of being a parent volunteer at I might have lurked in the stacks to capture a snap or two of my too cool for school 8th grader. Thank you to all the amazing teachers, parents and staff who make this beautiful community such a sweet place to grow wings. I’m not crying, you’re crying. And “I’ll be back” But it will be different without my kiddos to paparazzi torture. Sniff sniff sniff. 😢

Happy Mother’s Day Belated to all the amazing humans who care for others. I’m feeling very grateful for my three sweet men. I was able to doze and snuggle with Gingerbread the kitty, have one of my favorite treats - the market cupcake from , read some Emily Dickinson poetry including a few of Moms favorites, say thanks to our girls for their motherly contribution to our cuisine, enjoy a spring hike, picnic, sing along, and watercolor session with the family and then I went for Another Hike sola. Well with Roxie. Felt like a good day to pay extra respect to our Mother. 💐🌎. Big hugs and gratitude to all the Mommys. Your work is the most important work on this planet. 💪
