The hardest part about motherhood? your babies grow up...but you look at them and you still see the baby you held so tightly in the late nights of infancy, in the cries of bumps and bruises in toddler years, in the snuggles and laughter of childhood...and little bits remain, like first best friends whose noses are nearly missing and are worn from being carried around day in and day out...

I've watched Anna grow up for the last ten years and was so honored to be chosen to document her as a senior in high school, as a young woman, but still the little girl her mother sees with one of her first best friends...
